Join us at Greater Lansing’s largest, FREE event for new and expecting parents! Brought to you by Willow Tree Family Center, in partnership with the Ingham County Health Department, Capital Area District Libraries, and WKAR Family, and our sponsors, the Greater Lansing Baby Fair aims to provide the most comprehensive and FUN event for all things infant and toddler.

This FREE popular event features demonstrations, speakers, and exhibit booths ranging from car seat safety to infant oral health. You will meet some of the area’s pediatricians, midwives, doctors, dentists, lactation consultants, preschool teachers, nutritionists, and more! Shop and browse for baby items! There are activities for kids, too!

Last year over 1700 people visited over 150 exhibitors with products, services, and information for new families! The first 250 families will receive a complementary swag bag filled with samples and special offers from the sponsors and exhibitors. Arrive early and don’t miss out!

Daddy Den

The Greater Lansing Baby Fair has programming for all! Join local dads from Willow Tree Family Center and more for knowledge, camaraderie, and support. There will be a lounge for Dads to connect and learn.

We are excited to welcome the Daddy Daughter Hair Factory in 2018! WHAT DOES DDHF TEACH? The dad and daughter duos at DDHF are hand picked by staff to teach the basics of hair care and braiding within each of their respective communities. These dad and daughter teams teach classes that go over brushing hair, detangling, maintenance, and basic braids and hair styles that work well to keep hair out of our girls faces all while encouraging a healthy father daughter relationship.

Stroller Strides is a total fitness program that moms can do with their babies. It includes power walking and intervals of strength and body toning exercises using exercise tubing, the stroller and the environment. Taught by certified and specially trained fitness instructors, it is a great workout for any level of exerciser. Stroller Strides instructors weave songs and activities into the routine designed to entertain and engage baby, while moms are led through a series of exercises specific to her role as mom. Lansing Doula Network

Meet the Lansing Doula Network for information, education, and support. The LDN’s goals include creating a network of doulas and providing support through professional development opportunities, helping improve community knowledge of doulas, increasing the number of births attended by doulas in Ingham county and improving birth outcomes in Ingham County.
